Privacy policy

This policy covers puppytherapy.com, our forms, our email and our text alerts. “We” means Puppy Therapy LLC, Greensboro, North Carolina.

What we collect

• When you fill in a form — booking a Pop-Up, asking about a conference, or taking our quiz: your name, email, and what you tell us (company, location, dates, attendance, your answers). The quiz also asks, optionally, for a phone number.
• If you tick the box to hear from us: the wording you agreed to, the page you were on, the time, and your IP address, so we can show when and how you said yes.
• When you join our text alerts: your mobile number, the keyword you texted and when, and anything you choose to tell us by reply — the topics you’re interested in and your ZIP code.
• When you browse: our hosting provider keeps routine server logs. We run no analytics or advertising trackers and set no cookies of our own.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and plan and deliver events.
• To send you the emails or texts you asked for — and only those, on the channel you agreed to.
• To keep a record of your consent, and of any time you tell us to stop, so we can honor it.
• To keep our forms free of spam and abuse.

Who helps us handle it

We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and for no other purpose: our website host, our database provider, our email provider, and our text-message provider (Twilio), which delivers our texts. They may not use your information for their own marketing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or share our lists.

Text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Information is shared only with the providers who deliver our messages, as described above.

Your consent to Puppy Therapy texts is ours alone. It is not used by, or passed to, any other business — including the breeding programs whose puppies attend our events. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. Full terms: puppytherapy.com/texts.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Tell us any other way that you want us to stop — by reply, by email, or in person — and we will.
• Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@puppytherapy.com. We’ll confirm it’s you before acting, and we keep the minimal record needed to keep honoring an opt-out.

How long we keep it

As long as we have a relationship with you, and afterward only as long as we need to for records the law requires or to prove and honor your consent choices.

Security

Your information is stored with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.

Children

Our site and text alerts are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
